Today

Today, I am going to have an amazing day.

Today, I am going to ignore those dishes, that pile of clothes, and that mile-long to do list.

Today, I am going to have a fabulous time with my friends and family.

Today, I am not going to worry about what I should be doing and enjoy what I am doing.

Today 🙂

  1. This is a wonderful message to wake up to. I think we all need an occasional day when the things we should be doing include spending time with friends and family, while the chores can be put off. It reminds me of the poet Reverend Pedro Pietri’s “Telephone Booth #905 1/2”. He calls his boss to say he feels too good to come into work. He concludes, “If I feel sick tomorrow I will come in early.”
