Ty called me scatter brained the other day. He is ridiculously correct. My brain is always going all over the place and has multiple trains going in and out. It is kinda’ like Grand Central Station. I decided to take random pictures of things that caught my eye over the weekend. A lot of it is from when I was canning (which is going to be a whole other blog post once my pickles are pickled), and some of them are from little things that struck me as important.
Our mason jar salads that we made in an attempt to curb unhealthy eating and help us not go out.
My little helpers busy at the kitchen table.
Whimzy was way too happy using a knife.
Our random fruit and herb bowl taking up space on my wine bar.
Garlic!! My place still smells like an Italian restaurant when you walk in because of all the garlic we chopped.
The beauty of potential.
The snap peas that we are refrigerator canning. I have to wait 2 whole weeks to eat them. Definitely battling my instant gratification here.
DILL! It looked like a fairy bed once I got done taking off the plant. A very stinky fairy bed.
My pickles! Now another week before I can confirm if they turned out or not.
9 jars of pickles. Thank God I love pickles.
Even though it was an alien invasion, I would still love if the Doctor Who diet plan worked. Take a pill and your fat walks away in the form if this cute little guy. He is standing by some awesome depression glassware that I got while antiquing with my Mom. They go well together.
Date night? More like “hey! we can just be bums, night!”. This is what I picked out for dinner while Whimzy was at her grandparents. I only ate the cake 😉
Here was a tiny glimpse into my life. ❤
Now, I go to battle with the unfortunate side effects of a domestic adventure: dishes and laundry.
What did you do this weekend? Any pictures? C’mon, share them!
