I am on the mend from my leg surgery. I am in a bit of pain and a bit woozy from the medications.
I have to admit that focusing on healing my body is offering a tangible timeline for getting better, which my mental health never really has had, is very refreshing.
The fact that I can’t really do anything too physical is also giving me time to focus on me and moving forward. I am going to do my best to catch up on my book goal and work on my mindfulness and DBT skills.
This whole situation is unfortunate, but I am going to do the best I can with it.
