It is so easy to focus on the bad in life. All of the bad things, bad decisions, and bad circumstances that have happened.
So, let’s switch that around. I am going to try to focus on the good things that have happened.
*Living with my best friend for 4 months
*Marrying the most kind and compassionate man ever.
*Having my daughter
*Getting our own place
*My cooking talent
*All of the amazing times with my friends.
*My green wedding dress
*My hamster, Sparkles
*Motorcycle rides with my family.
*Getting my Associate’s and Bachelor’s Degree
*Finishing high school despite tough circumstances
*Able to help care for my mom
There have been many good times in my life, and many things to be proud of. Those are the things that are so hard to focus on when negative self-talk, guilt, and shame pop up. I will remember this list and recite it in my head.
