Hi! Welcome to my world. It is odd, overwhelming, confusing, and definitely has its magical and awesome moments.
This is where I am going to post my life; rants, rambles, raves, recipes, life updates, projects, stories, quotes, complaints, interesting stuff, and anything else that pops into my mind.
Now, about me. I am 29, a mom, a wife, pursuing education and a career in mental health advocacy and/or cuddly animals, an avid reader, an experimental cook, a Doctor Who fangirl, have a list of psychiatric issues, am a hopeless romantic, and am addicted to pasta. I’m also battling an issue with alcohol and self-medication and am on the road to recovery, whatever that means…. I’m always looking for advice, inspiration, and things that make me laugh! Please feel free to give any of the above 😉 Also, blogging about my struggles through mental illness and addiction has become kind of a theme, so if you have anything you want to share, or if my writing has helped you at all, please let me know! It helps give me inspiration to keep writing.
Want to know more? Here are the links to my various social media outlets, personal, not blog related. If I get enough followers, I will definitely make FB, Twitter, and Pinterest pages for my blog, but not at that point, yet!

Plus, a link to my GoodReads page! Keep up on what I am reading and what I like or don’t like! Recommend me books, too 🙂 I am doing my best to broaden my reading horizons! https://www.goodreads.com/user/show/13877457-cara-robertson

And, in case you were wondering, luminessa is a term used in a trilogy that I read when I was a teenager that means princess. They called the princess Luminessa. I fell in love with it and I have used it as an email and screen name since I discovered it. I was going to name my daughter Luminessa, also, but she ended up with the name Whimzy… I have been going through my boxes of books and will give the author/series credit once I figure it out.
I love to hear from anybody who reads my blog and greatly appreciate any thoughts, stories, advice, or whatever you feel like throwing my way!
